When is the Remarkables Market held?

Every Saturday from October to April,  9am – 2pm.  In Winter five special winter markets run from 10am – 2pm.  Check out our Facebook page for specific dates.

Where is the Remarkables Market?

The Market is held at the Red Barn, corner of Hawthorne and Red Oaks Drive in Remarkables Park.

Is there parking available?

Yes!  The Market has a large carpark adjacent with plenty of additional parking across the road.  Parking is FREE for market attendees but all cars must be removed after the market.

Is there Public Transport to the Market?

Orbus is the local bus operator and drops off within 200m of the Market.  Check here for the latest timetables Queenstown buses and ferries (orc.govt.nz)

What kind of stalls do you have at the Market?

The Market has a great range of hot and cold food (remember your keep cup or borrow one of ours!), fresh produce, crafts, artisan foods and entertainment.  New stalls are added all through the season so there is always something new to explore!

Can I bring my dog to the Market?

Yes, but all dogs must be on a lead.  No dogs are allowed inside the barn area but you will find a convenient ‘dog parking area’ to the east of the Red Barn.

Can I bring my children to the Remarkables Market?

Yes!  Children are very welcome!  A large playground and sandpit, along with picnic tables and grassed areas to sit make it the perfect outing for families.

Are there Toilets on site?

Yes, there are toilets on site for Market attendees including one accessible toilet.

Is the Market Accessible?

Yes, the market is accessible.  There is disabled parking right outside the entrance.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes!  We encourage people to use active transport to attend the market.  There is a bike stand outside the front entrance.

Do I need cash or is eftpos accepted?

This depends on the stallholder but there is an ATM on site.  Don’t forget to bring your reusable bag for all your purchases!
